What is the problem?

Companies have become so complex that the boundaries of conventional analysis and intuitive decisions are reached.

In order to find more potential, far more powerful and differentiated analysis is needed.

However, state of the art analysis techniques are seldom found in corporate practice,

there is still a lot of potential.

The reasons:

For each company there are very different questions and application which differ according to their business model. Therefore, standard solutions can often not give the necessary support.

ERP-Systems are solution and problem at the same time: on the one hand, they enable an unheard of depth of data capturing and processing, on the other hand the sheer volume of data makes analysis a very difficult task.

In order to find management solutions, today both powerful IT Tools and expert knowledge on company processes are needed. Experience shows that both elements are hard to bring together in many companies today in the needed quality.

What is our approach?

We bring company  knowledge and data processing know-how together. Company knowledge in this context means a comprehensive understanding of processes and structures in the company. This is crucial in order to understand what the approaches for in-depth analysis can be. Moreover our process affinity leads to a higher efficiency. 

Data processing know-how is provided on two levels:

On the data pre-processing level: Before analysis, company data usually has to be pre-processed in order to enable the analysis. We have developed techniques which deliver a high data quality in a short time.

On the data analysis level of structures, processes, products on a high technical-mathematical level. Intelligent analysis approaches from practical applications enable us to achieve deep insights of data intensive issues with a high efficiency and simple means. Key competencies for this are experience and creativity in explorative data analysis. 

We employ the mathematical techniques of Knowledge Discovery in Databases and Operations Research to the degree they are needed.
